Job Role: Humanities Curriculum Lead
Contract: Term-time/ Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £33,000 to £38,480 per annum
Your Purpose
Here at R.E.A.L Education (part of the wider Aurora Group) we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Humanities Curriculum Lead to join our team. Your new role will be to develop an inclusive and innovative curriculum for our Humanities team and learners. You will have the support of our Senior Leadership team while also having the creative freedom to update schemes of learning and make sure our humanities curriculum has that quality check. We Need
We need someone who is an experienced education professional with proven experience working with children and young people within education (preferably working with learners who have SEN super powers). You will need to have sound knowledge and practical experience of designing and developing the Humanities curriculum.
You will need to be a qualified teacher with the ability to positively engage our learners by adapting sessions based on their individual needs and interests. Our learners need someone who is passionate, dedicated and will work holistically to support them to achieve their own full potential.
There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
