RIS Hinckley is our newest school is based within an historic Victorian building in the heart of the town. Cutting edge technology sits comfortably alongside the stunning architectural features, thoughtfully restored and showcased to inspire modern learners.

We aim to provide a service that meets the needs of children and young people for whom the traditional model of approach and avenues of engagement have been exhausted. 

Our independent schools provide local authority decision makers with an alternative to out of county placements that can leave young people disconnected from their local communities. 

We are a solution focussed and person centred organisation. This means that we start with a young person and wrap a bespoke learning experience around their interests and needs. At R.E.A.L. Independent Schools (RIS), learning is engaging, authentic and connected to the student’s passions and builds on their strengths.

 Our aim is to start from where the child currently is in their learning and embark on a bespoke learning journey. 

Our pedagogy is built on many years of experiences within special and mainstream schools, special educational needs services, and local authority Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision.
