Job Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Contract: Term-time, Permanent, 37.5hours per week

Salary: £22,464 per annum (FTE)

Your Purpose

To support Curriculum Leads and Site Lead Teachers with the planning, preparation and assessment of an innovative and flexible curriculum. To teach 1:1 and small group sessions as required. To use a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision which includes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.

We Need

We need someone who has experience of working with learners who have SEN additional needs within an educational setting including planning, preparation and assessing curriculum sessions. You need to hold a minimum of a level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (or an appropriate and relevant level 4) and be able to effectively communicate and engage with our learners. Our learners need someone who is patient, able to work innovatively and flexibly and be passionate about supporting them to be the best versions of themselves. 

There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
