A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Outdoor
Education provision as an Adventure Group Tutor.

Our Adventure Group Tutors deliver innovative and engaging sessions in some beautiful locations such as the Peak District and local Mansfield areas when they are not delivering from our Adventure & Sports hub in Pleasley.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a passion for supporting children and young people to challenge themselves beyond the classroom and embrace the outdoors taking part in activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, caving and hiking.

The successful candidate must be someone who has experience of leading groups of children and young people in the mentioned activities, has an understanding of working with people who have SEN and/or challenging behaviour and are confident in managing riskier activities.

The role will have a base at our Pleasley site in Mansfield but due to the nature of the activities there will travel to and from appropriate locations as per the scheme of work. Therefore, anyone applying must be able to transport Learners either in our R.E.A.L. minibus or be willing to use their own vehicle.

This is a full-time permanent position, operating Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm term time only.

The starting salary is £21,000 per annum up to £25,000 per annum.
