Job Title: Teacher of Functional Skills English/Maths

Salary: £22,260 – £29,680
R.E.A.L Education provides both independent special schools placements and market leading alternative education. We are seeking someone who has knowledge and experience of teaching in a SEN/D environment to develop our Functional Skills offer, ensuring that this is an option for all of our Learners.
The successful applicant will be responsible for using a collaborative, multi-sensory and holistic approach to the delivery of the English and/or Maths Functional Skills curriculum. The post holder will work both on a 1:1 basis and a small group setting at a variety of sites within an agreed locality.
To be successful in this role you will have prior experience of delivering Functional Skills in a SEN environment, be innovative in your approach to teaching and have some experience of managing health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.
