Job Title: ICT & Business Studies Teacher

Hours: 37.5

Salary: £21,000 – £28,000

R.E.A.L Education provides both independent special schools placements and market leading alternative education. We are seeking someone to support in delivering the ICT/Computing curriculum together with some additional requirements in Business Studies teaching across a variety of our sites.

The successful applicant should have experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an education setting and be able to demonstrate experience of working with and developing effective resources for young people with additional needs. The post holder will work in both a 1:1 basis and a small group setting at a variety of sites within an agreed locality. In addition to this, responsibilities will involve supporting and maintaining a high level of engagement through collaborative preparation and the delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum.

To be successful in this role you will have prior experience of delivering curriculum in a SEN/D environment, be innovative in your approach to teaching and have some experience of managing health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people. Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
