Job Role: Deputy Head Teacher
Location: Blidworth
Contract: Term-time, Permanent – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £36,500 – £41,080 per annum (FTE)
Your Purpose
You will be part of our schools Senior Leadership team, working closely with our Head of Schools and Heads of Area by providing dynamic and professional leadership and management to reflect the school’s vision, policy and practice at our Independent School in Blidworth. You will also be responsible for developing and motivating staff, setting high expectations, embedding outstanding teaching and learning strategies and raising achievements for learners.
We Need
We need someone who has at least 3 years experience in a leadership role, ideally within an education setting with experience of supporting SEN learners. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with demonstrable knowledge of statutory education frameworks including governance. Our learners need someone who is empathetic, has a can-do attitude and fiercely believes that every child has a future and the ability to achieve positive outcomes.
There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people and their families as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
