Huge congratulations to all learners at R.E.A.L. Education who took exams and completed qualifications at the end of last term.

R.E.A.L. Independent School (R.I.S.)

100% of R.E.A.L. Independent School (RIS) learners on academic pathways, achieved accredited outcomes across an ever expanding broad curriculum offer. This year an increased number of RIS learners achieved accreditation across 5 or more different subject areas. All RIS learners have moved on to positive destinations this academic year.

91% of Year 11 learners achieved qualifications in both maths and English at their expected level or above.

55% of year 11 learners achieved at least 1 or more GCSE qualifications grades 4 – 9 or Level 2 equivalent qualifications in a range of academic and vocational subjects.

36% of Year 11 learners achieved Grade 4 or above (Level 2 equivalent) in maths and or English. This is well above what is achieved nationally for a similar cohort (learners with special educational needs or working within alternative provision).

RIS learners also produced some outstanding achievements at GCSE Grades 1- 3, Level 1 and entry level in maths, English, ICT, personal, social and health education, science and also within vocational areas such as food technology, mechanics and construction. All of these qualifications contribute to building the confidence and self esteem of pupils and fully support learners to prepare for their individual future goals.

R.E.A.L Alternative Provision School (RAPS)

The RAPS learners gained some fantastic qualifications at all levels over the course of last year. Last year saw a rise in the number of qualifications taken at RAPS, in academic and vocational areas.

92% of all learners achieved at least one qualification from the wide range of courses on offer, whilst 50% of learners achieved one or more.

100% of learners entered for A-Level exams achieved a grade.

92% of learners entered for a GCSE qualification achieved a grade.

40% of all learners successfully completed a BTEC in their chosen vocational area.
