Record R.E.A.L. Results

Huge congratulations to all learners at R.E.A.L. Education who took exams and completed qualifications at the end of last term.

R.E.A.L. Alternative Provision School (RAPS) learners have achieved outstanding results from over 100 qualifications that include core subjects as standard, plus a hugely diverse range of academic and vocational courses such as hospitality and catering, digital arts, outdoor education and music technology. This is a reflection of the hard work of the learners and the staff throughout the year and an increased breadth of curriculum from p-levels through to A Levels.

This success is due to carefully matching interests and abilities of our learners to create an individual bespoke package. 100% of our learners from RAPS were entered for and achieved qualifications, exceeding expectations.

100% of R.E.A.L. Independent School (RIS) learners on academic pathways have achieved accredited outcomes across an ever expanding broad curriculum offer.

56% of learners in Year 11 achieved GCSE qualifications and other vocational qualifications at Level 2. These Level 2 qualifications include digital media and music technology. Other learners have been working on pathways at Entry Level and Level 1. This academic year, RIS have produced their highest results since opening in 2013. 38% of results have been awarded at the highest level (Grades 5 – 9).

Historically, RIS learners have demonstrated higher attainment in maths. As a school we have been working hard to close the gap between attainment in English and maths. This year, our results have demonstrated that this gap is beginning to close. This is testimony to the hard work of our curriculum leads, teaching staff and learners – and has resulted in improved outcomes in English.

Following on from their successful achievements in the summer, 100% of Year 11 leavers have moved onto a positive destination such as Nottingham College, employment and further education within RIS. We wish these learners all the best in their future endeavours.

Congratulations to all R.E.A.L. learners for achieving the best results ever!
