R.E.A.L.’s Music Talent on the Radio

Congratulations to R.E.A.L. learner Oliver (AKA TheUnknownRedeemer) who was chosen as Kemet FM’s “Youngster of the Week” last month.

Achieving this fantastic accolade meant that the radio station played one of Oliver’s tracks everyday between 3pm and 4pm for the week of 28th May to 1st June.

A year 11 learner at R.E.A.L., Oliver enjoys composing digital music tracks, both in the music group he attends and also at home.

Lorraine Elliott, Learning Manager at R.E.A.L. Education said: “This is a huge achievement – massive congratulations go to Oliver from us all at R.E.A.L.”

Oliver said: “I just want to be heard and to show everyone that I CAN do it and prove people wrong who have not believed in me in the past.”

Oliver hopes to continue with his music studies at post 16 level, and will continue to produce his own music.
