R.E.A.L. Education – Powered by Robin Hood Energy
R.E.A.L. Education is delighted to announce a major change to their electricity provider from December 2018. All future power across the 10 vocational Hubs and 3 independent schools will be provided by Robin Hood Energy, a not-for-profit organisation based in Nottingham and owned by Nottingham City Council.
Robin Hood Energy’s electricity is certified as being sourced from UK based wind and solar generators. The Green energy package that will now be used was organised through Cost Advice, based in Clay Cross, Chesterfield.
Dave Roberts, Business Manager at R.E.A.L. Education, commented: “It is important that how we manage our operation reflects the messages that we give to our young people. The use of renewable energy and looking after our environment is one of those key messages”
Matt Lomas, Broker Manager at Robin Hood Energy, stated: “We’re delighted to be working with R.E.A.L. Education. We aim to ensure all our customers are provided with energy that meets their needs from a price and environmental perspective. We hope the relationship is a long and successful one.”
Charlotte Hoole, Commercial Energy Consultant at Cost Advice Services Ltd also commented: “While working with R.E.A.L Education, we brought all of their electricity supplies together, through Robin Hood Energy. Having a common group end date, and being under one supplier makes the tendering and administrative process much simpler for the customer, as one of our main aims is to make sure the often daunting task of energy management and procurement is as straightforward as possible.
“The process of performing a full energy tender is an often complex and time-consuming one, therefore by us performing this analysis for our customer, it consequently frees up their valuable time to focus on their number one priority, their business.”
