R.E.A.L. Apprentices help power County Battery
R.E.A.L. Education’s Creative Digital apprentices have secured a commercial contract to deliver a corporate video for a Nottinghamshire company.
Based in Kirkby in Ashfield, County Battery Services has over 40 years experience and expertise in servicing customer requirements within the battery industry. They chose to work with R.E.A.L.’s Creative Digital student enterprise company after being impressed by conversations they had with R.E.A.L. learners, and also after viewing a portfolio of R.E.A.L. work that was presented at the Mansfield 2020 business meeting earlier in the year.
The delivery of the project will be wholly managed by three of R.E.A.L.’s Level 4 apprentice undergraduate learners who run the student enterprise company. The project is due to be completed in early 2019.
Neil Kellow, Lead Teacher of Creative Digital at R.E.A.L. Education said: “Commercial work forms the spine of the whole educational experience at R.E.A.L. Creative Digital. All learners on site are encouraged to participate in commercial projects to some degree as part of our industrial approach to pipeline creative team work.
“Our learners and apprentices have state-of-the-art equipment at their fingertips and are excited to deliver a professional finished product for County Battery. “
