With warmer weather just around the corner, R.E.A.L. Adventure are gearing up for an exciting summer term!
R.E.A.L. Adventure, an exciting arm of R.E.A.L. Education, operates adventurous activities for learners and schools, as well as private and corporate groups.
Licenced through the Adventure Activities Licencing Authority (AALA), R.E.A.L. Adventure carry out a number of activities with R.E.A.L. learners in the Peak District including kayaking, abseiling, caving, mountain biking and bushcraft. Activities for learners can be part of a structured course (such as a BTEC qualification), the R.E.A.L. befriending service, or as a general activity.
The provision is an amazing resource for R.E.A.L. Education learners to have at their fingertips – with new mountain bikes and an expanding array of water and land based adventures to choose from.
Zac Holland, Group Provision Manager for R.E.A.L. Adventure who has worked in the outdoor industry since 1986 said: “Our courses are outdoor led and we work with learners to develop their life skills, communication and confidence.”
“Our staff have just completed a new kayak and canoe training course for which took part on the River Derwent in Derbyshire, meaning that we can now offer a more diverse range of water-based activities.
“We now have groups using the lake at Sandhills in our new open boats which have been received really well!”
R.E.A.L. Adventure also cater for birthday parties, families, corporate sessions, and outdoor adventure training.
