Gold Quality Assurance Award for R.E.A.L.
Last month, the Nottingham City Secondary Education Partnership (NCSEP) who annually inspect all providers of alternative education provision in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, visited R.E.A.L. to check the quality of provision provided.
As part of the inspection, the NCSEP evaluated four key areas: effectiveness of leadership and management; quality of teaching, learning and assessment; personal development, behaviour and welfare; and outcomes for students.
We are delighted that R.E.A.L. has been awarded the Gold Quality Assurance standard overall!
The report said: “Leaders can evidence interventions and the impact that these have on all aspects of the business. Teaching and learning is the key focus. Teaching is good with students making strong progress in lessons. There is an excellent careers programme and a strong emphasis on health and welfare for students.”
Kay Carter, R.E.A.L. Education Operations Manager said: “We have such a wealth of great outcomes here at R.E.A.L it makes our job of evidencing how brilliant you all are so easy!”
Andy Richmond, Alternative Provision Manager (Groups provisions) at R.E.A.L. Education said: “This is great, it recognises of all the hard work everyone does here at R.E.A.L to give our learners a chance to succeed.”
