A R.E.A.L. Celebration for Learners
On Friday 20th April R.E.A.L. Independent School (RIS) held a celebration event for Key Stage 2/3 learners at Blidworth Hub.
The event was well attended by parents/carers, learners, tutors and RIS Governors. Certificates for attendance, progress in academic subjects, project work and wellbeing for the Spring Term were presented by Sean Ryan (Trustee and RIS Governor) to all Key Stage 2/3 learners.
Three learners were awarded the Head Teacher’s award for their exceptional progress and attitude during the Spring Term, and a visual presentation was also shown at the event to showcase the wide and exciting activities, good work and trips that took place during the term.
Alison Wellings, Key Stage 2/3 Pastoral & Engagement Lead said: “There was a such a lovely, positive atmosphere at the celebration event and during the refreshments afterwards.
“It was very pleasing to see so many learners achieving gold/silver attendance certificates. This highlights excellent support from parents and carers for ensuring that learners attend; engaging work carried out by tutors; and learners taking ownership for their education – all of which is contributing to the impressive attendance data.”
